Factory Manager

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Factory Manager who will be specializing in a plastic molding company, responsible for the overall success of the plant's operations, encompassing production, quality, safety, and employee management to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Ensure optimal utilization of human resources, machinery, and equipment.
• Directly address and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.
• Review production and operating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assess and plan for future production capacity needs.
• Establish and maintain production and quality control standards.
• Ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Ensure all employees are adequately trained on safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of Engineering (e.g., chemical, mechanical, industrial), or a science-related discipline is highly desirable.
• Several years (8+ years) of experience in a supervisory or management role within the plastic molding industry is preferred.
• Experience in leading and managing teams, setting goals, and motivating employees is essential.
