Key responsibilities for Accounting Business Development Officer
- Educating the beneficiaries, the importance of bookkeeping & accounting. Ensuring physical books of accounts such as cash books, petty cash vouchers, payment vouchers, receipt books, invoice books and supervising the daily use of the books of accounts
- Supporting the beneficiaries in the program in the creation of simple Financial Reports such as Profit and Loss Accounts, Sales reports, Debtors reports, Stock reports.
- Supporting the beneficiaries in the practice of assets and inventory management, effective and routine budgeting, and practice of costing of products in their enterprises.
- Supporting the beneficiaries of the program on managing their business expenses and ensuring the separation of personal expenses and business expenses.
- Supporting the beneficiaries of the program in credit and debt management, development of financial strategies, through helping them understand cash flows, profitability, and break-even points.
- Support the beneficiaries in opening of Accounts with KCB Bank Tanzania for 684 beneficiaries.
- Helping the beneficiaries in the program understand the modalities of sourcing for business finance.
- Training the beneficiaries in the program on the benefits and importance of tax registration and tax compliance through support in filling of different tax returns.
- Training the beneficiaries in the program on the importance of banking.
- Training the beneficiaries in the program on the importance of bank relationship management
- Training the beneficiaries in the program on how bank credit scoring works and how they too can access credit.
- Assist in industrial attachment, mentorship, and coaching process
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting for both in country and to KCBF
- Recruitment of new beneficiaries.
- Keeping track of the end-to-end process of the 2jiajiri program in the areas of expertise.
