Business Development Officer
Location: Dar es salaam & Mwanza – Tanzania
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase loan sales and revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitors, and industry trends.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to clients on loan products, eligibility criteria, and the application process.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, including loan disbursement goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, credit, and operations) to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders about loan offerings.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to loans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in Financial Institutions.
- Strong knowledge of car loans (or similar financial products).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
