The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. This position will be in support of HJF Medical Research International, Inc. Tanzania (HJFMRI) TPDF program.

Responsibilities

The Care and Treatment Program Officer will coordinate the development and implementation of HIV/AIDS care and treatment initiatives and activities within the HJFMRI Tanzania TPDF program supported health facilities in line with the Tanzania Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines, annual TPDF program work plans and budget, HJFMRI policies and procedures, in country and USG laws and regulations. The position shall provide consistent supportive supervision and devise remediation strategies for identified gaps within TPDF program supported health facilities, including contributing to the identification and facilitation of capacity development initiatives for facility healthcare providers as well as conducting fundamental Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tasks to oversee HIV care and treatment programs. The position is based in Dar es Salaam and reports to the Care and Treatment Technical Advisor - TPDF Program.

This position will take place primarily in an office setting.
