HR World Limited is seeking a Chartered Accountant to manage financial reporting and support management with financial analysis.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow monitoring and reporting.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory payments and tax returns (VAT, PAYE, SDL, WHT, corporate tax).
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor operational expenses and recommend cost control measures to improve profitability.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Maintain accurate asset registers and oversee depreciation and inventory reconciliation where applicable.
Support management with financial analysis on logistics operations including transport costs, fleet expenses, and operational profitability.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff where necessary.
Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
Professional qualification in Accounting (Chartered Accountant) is required. CPA qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in accounting/finance roles, preferably within the logistics or transport industry.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
