Job Purpose 

The Chief Accountant will be the expert regarding all technical accounting / statutory matters so far as they affect the organisation. 

Job Qualifications / Experience 

• Degree in Accounting, Business Management or a similar field preferred. 
• 4+ years of experience in a Finance Management Role. CPA/ACCA holder is preferred Master's Degree will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Pastel Evolution and VIP Payroll, QuickBooks, Pastel and other accounting tools and systems 
• Excellent working knowledge of the Tanzanian taxes and company including VAT, WHT, SDL, City Service levy, corporation tax and payroll taxes 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy 
• Experience in working in a computerized accounting system, and accounting environment 
• Team player Good communicator and personal time manager Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
