Chinese Translator (2 Posts)

We are looking for a Translator to interpret written and audio pieces from Chinese, English, and Swahili languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.

Job Description:

• Convert text from one language to another or more others.
• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
• Proofread translated text for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.
• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g., font and structure).

Education, Professional & Work Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Translator, interpreter, or similar role.
• Minimum 1 year working experience as a translator.
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Good knowledge of content editing tools.
• Fluency in Chinese and English in addition to your native language.
• Good communication skills.
• Executive ability.
• Basic in MS Office software.
