Counsellor Mental Health Services is a member of NAVANGA Healthcare Solutions central team, responsible for providing psychological support to individuals dealing with emotional, pyschological, and mental health challenges. The role involves working closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive mental healthcare delivery tailored to persons needs that align with regulatory standards, company vision, mission, and core values.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in psychology or any related field.
• +2 years in psychological counseling in clinical settings.
• Experience CBT, DBT, or any other therapeutic interventions.
• Strong knowledge of psychological theories, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and age groups.

Responsibilities.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat psychological disorders using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Use psychological tests and assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral issues.
• Provide crisis interventions and coping strategies for patients dealing with stress, trauma, and major life transitions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Educate patients and families about healthcare conditions and coping strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest research and psychology and mental healthcare advancements. 
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
