Inades Formation Tanzania(IFTz) is a legally independent, autonomous, not-for-profit, Non-Governmental Organization(NGO) that works at the services of rural communities. It is one of the institutions providing action-training support for the socio-economic empowerment of smallholder farmers and rural communities, aimed at building their capacities to bring about their socio-economic advancement and transform the societies in which they live.

The organization is looking for one competent and committed crop officer to fill one vacant post in Dodoma.

Qualifications and Experience

• Should possess a University degree, preferably BSc Agriculture general/Horticulture or its equivalent from recognized University or any other Academic Institution
• Working experience of at least two years in the relevant field
• Experience in working with local and international NGO in a rural setting
• Should possess a clear understanding of rural settings with the right attitude towards rural development & readiness to work with rural community
• Familiarity with computer application and data analysis programmes e.g knowledge on SPSS, GraftStat, and excel is important.
• Should possess a driving license and/or be capable of self-drive
• Women are strongly encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of M&E concepts is required
• Relevant experience on Good Governance and advocacy will be an added advantage
• Applicant’s preferable age should be between 30-35 years
