CARE seeks a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)-Programs for the anticipated USAID-funded Youth Empowerment and Skills (YES) program. This project will enable youth ages 15-25 to: (1) access resources and opportunities for basic educational, life, and entrepreneurial skills; (2) participate in activities that foster physical and mental well-being; and (3) build or strengthen existing networks that support youth development and community engagement. The expected result of this activity is that youth will be more productive, engaged, and active members in their communities. This activity is a four-year $10M program.

The DCOP will support the Chief of Party to lead the development of high-quality and practical project implementation plans that meet the technical expectations of the project theory of change. They will lead and mentor a team of technical advisors as well as represent the project in steering committees, technical working groups, etc. The DCOP will identify and resolve challenges and promote ongoing learning and quality improvements throughout the life of the project.
