Design culturally themed programs for the lodge that will enhance the overall guest experience and educate guests as well as employees on the significance of the history, people, customs, and fauna and flora of the Mara and Serengeti regions.
Creatively coordinate and develop cultural activities and entertainment for the guests and group functions to enhance their experience.
Responsible for the preparation of a daily cultural information sheet for guests, as well as daily communication to guests regarding special events or group programs.
Develop and provide specific educational programs about the Maasai and the local fauna and flora to teenage guests.
Act as the community and cultural liaison person, actively maintaining and developing a professional relationship with community leaders, TANAPA, local arts, crafts and entertainment groups.
Responsible for the day to day running of the Kijana Klub & Discovery Centre, including all retail related items and inventory. Retail offering should strive to be from local community-based projects, thus helping to sustain these industries.
Develop trips and programs for guests to visit specific community-based projects to enhance awareness and to educate them about the local people and their day to day life.
