Level 3 – the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Under the guidance of the Logistic and Administration officer of the Zanzibar Office, the Driver/Logistics Assistant will be responsible to provide safe and reliable transport service to the designated staff and guests in Pemba related to the implementation of Save the Children International’s (SCI) Pemba-based programs and other official business in a highly professional and efficient manner. At the same time, adhere to the organization policies and follow road safety standards. In addition, as a member of the Support Services team, the Driver/Logistics Assistant will work with the Administration and Logistics Officer (Zanzibar office) on issues of fleet management, store management and distribution of stock, local procurement using value for money and cost effective approach, facilities management and assets and inventory management for any vehicles, premises, supplies, assets and goods and services located in/purchased directly in Pemba in line with Save the Children Tanzania’s logistics policies and procedures.
