Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is a national designated Public Postal operator established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on 1st January, 1994. The Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and is dedicated in improving people’s lives. Currently the Corporation is inviting qualified team players to join the Corporation’s major transformation initiatives and all the following vacancies;

POSITION TITLE: ECONOMIST II (2 POSTS)

Entry Qualifications
A holder of Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Economics/ Economic Planning/ Agri-Business or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with computer knowledge. Should be not more than thirty-five (35) years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities
i. Analyze and interpret economic and statistical data.
ii. Seek solutions to economic problems in different facts of the corporation.
iii. Completion of economic and statistical data.
iv. Analyze simple economic problems of direct relevance to the corporation.
v. Perform any other duties as may be assigned

Remunerations
The above post carries competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salary
structure and incentive package.

Duty station
The successful candidate will be stationed at Tanzania Posts Corporation Headquarters.
