Key Responsibilities:
- Develop daily Chute distribution plan (10%): Daily distribution plan developed and shared with key Supervisor.
- Supervise food scooping process to ensure a beneficiary gets right entitlement (50%): Beneficiaries get right entitlement (Refer to FBM reports).
- Manage food allocated to his/her chute as standards (10%): Food handling principles adhered to.
- Supervise Scoopers assigned to the chute (10%): Quality services rendered.
- Compile food distribution report (5%): Quality reports compiled and submitted.
- Supervise chute cleanliness (5%): Chute is clean always.
- Participate into food prepositioning exercises (10%): Active participation is vivid.
Knowledge/Qualifications for the Role:
Required Professional Experience
- One-year experience in working with humanitarian operations
- Experience in handling commodities management
- Experience in working with refugee programs
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Training in commodities management, response trainings.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Advanced diploma in Accountant, Procurement, Community Economy Development
- Degree is an added value

English and Swahili
Key Working Relationships:
- WFP Field staff: Daily contact for effective communication regarding distribution process.
- UNHCR Field Staff: Daily contact to resolve challenges associated with beneficiaries registration.
- Plan International: Daily contact for child protection issues associated with food services.
- Refugee community leaders: Regular contact for information dissemination to the communities.
- EDP staff: Regular contact for food requests from the store and communication related to food delivery.
- FBM: Regular contact for understanding discrepancies and timely resolution.
