Project Overview and Role

Background:
The MEASURE Evaluation Project, based at the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), is a global health project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). MEASURE Evaluation focuses on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of the population, health, and nutrition programs and improving health sector decision-making. In Tanzania, the Project received an Associate Award from USAID/Tanzania that is anticipated to run until January, 2019. We are currently seeking Finance & Administrative Manager to serve through the remaining months of the project and assist locally with project close-out activities.
 
Purpose of Role:
The position will be the lead financial support role for the local Dar es Salaam team through the final months of the project and work closely with Headquarters team to ensure smooth and compliant operations. The Finance & Administrative Manager will guide local team through remaining project activities in accordance with USAID and Palladium procedures and guidelines as well as lead the financial and operational close-out of the project office in late 2018/early 2019.
