FruitTanz is a newly established sourcing, processing, and marketing company of high-quality fresh fruit. We are looking to strengthen our Team an experienced Pack House Manager, Finance and Administration Manager and quality manager. We are looking for a strong leader who could juggle in multiple projects at once and maintain a team focus that keeps our products and services performed at a high level.

The position is in Korogwe Tanga – Tanzania.

Job Description

The Finance and Administration Manager will be a strategic thought-partner and report to the executive director (ED). The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources, administration, and IT.

The Director of Finance and Administration will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations. This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance and operations leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a new and high-impact organization.

Requirements

• University degree in Procurement in the required field
• Minimum 5 experience preferably in the Food Processing sector
• Strategic and creative thinking skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer/supplier service skills
• High degree of knowledge of the industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English and Swahili, spoken and written
• Personal qualities: Enthusiast: Assertive, Good negotiator. Solid financial acumen
• Strong team player
• Able to work very long hours during our busy season or as business activities demand.
• Computer Proficient – Outlook. MS Word and MS Excel application minimum.
