FINANCE ASSISTANT
HR World Limited on behalf of our client we are looking for a Finance Assistance who will maintain strict control over cash management activities and banking relationships to ensure proper channel of communication between the hub and banks.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Manage petty cash and monitor compliance ensuring timely replenishment of floats, ensure proper documentations are attached for staff claims, that they are supported and authorized before replenishment.
- Maintain cheque register, ensuring all details are captured and tracked sequentially.
- Coordinate with banks for bid securities, follow up on communications for bank accounts opening and closing including signatories’ management.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices in the RT system for payment.
- Support month end close processes with the hub in relation to timely retrieval and submission of bank statements in a format compatible to accounting system for bank reconciliation.
- Assist in fixed assets management ensuring all assets are properly tagged, maintain documentation and records for all assets additions and disposals.
- Maintain records of contracts and other company documents such as insurance policies, office lease agreements, business licenses, legal permits etc.
- Assist with documentations requirements for internal and external audits, tax audits and others.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years work experience in Cash Management and Finance Operations.
- Practical experience with accounting systems and spreadsheets to complete tasks assigned.
