RTI International is accepting Applications from qualified staff for the recently awarded USAID/Tanzania Tusome Pamoja Program(2016-2021)  in Tanzania. The 5-year program assists the ministry of education to replicate scaleup reading, writing and arithmetic improvement interventions in schools with an emphasis on curriculum and materials development for grades 1-4 in Swahili and English. On behalf of the USAID/Tanzania, RTI will work with the regional, district, and ward personnel to implement reading, writing, and arithmetic reforms in four mainland regions of the country and Zanzibar, with support, give n to approximately 3000 public primary schools in the selected regions. Additionally, Tusome Pamoja will implement activities to engage communities and parents to further the goals of improved student learning outcomes.

Finance Specialist 2 to be based in Dar es Salaam

He/She will provide function support to the Senior finance manager in ensuring that the internal finance processes are followed, cash flow and other financial forecasts are prepared. working with Finance Spc-3  and assisted by the finance officer, Finance Spc-2 will responsible to ensure the overall financial processes adhere to and executed in a timely and qualitative way

Qualifications: A diploma/ bachelor in either business studies or accounting on financial management + 6 years relevant work experience or a masters degree and 3 years experience; Able to work effectively with minimum supervision; Able to work under strict deadlines; Good organisation and administrative skills; Excellent communication, Organisation and reporting skills, team player, trustworthy and responsible;

Excellent attention to detail; proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred
