FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE

As a Financial Controller, you will partner with the business units in the organization to oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s financial success. Your role will focus on driving the business towards target achievements and operational KPI fulfillment. As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the ability to link business decisions to financial impacts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Financial Insights: Provide financial insights that inform business strategies and decisions.
- Controls, Compliance & Assurance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal control standards.
- Reporting & Process Efficiencies: Streamline reporting processes and improve financial efficiencies.
- Capability Building: Enhance the financial capabilities within the organization through training and development.
Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
- Dynamic and flexible mindset, with the enthusiasm to work in an unstructured environment.
- Knowledge of banking and treasury functions is an added advantage.
- Understanding of business issues beyond one’s area of expertise.
- Sound knowledge of the manufacturing industry, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience in managing change management projects.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good presentation skills, with knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills, especially in team settings.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- Experience: Around 10 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience in Sales/Commercial Finance and FP&A roles.
- Knowledge of OTC & SAP modules is preferred.
