Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports, managing fixed assets, prepayments, and supporting the management team with weekly reporting. The role also includes coaching colleagues on correct entries in Business Central and assisting with various tax reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly detailed statements.
- Maintain the fixed assets register.
- Provide an overview of supporting schedules to the Financial Statements.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Conduct inventory on hand overview, including item, quantity, and average price.
- Track HR budget per role vs actual.
- Organize the external audit process.
- Assist with budget preparation and perform monthly variance analysis.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial control and risk management practices.

Weekly Reporting Support for Management Team (MT):
- Evaluate raw materials inventory valuation (cost per unit).
- Assess finished goods inventory valuation (cost per unit to determine gross margin).
- Report on production losses (value and Bill of Materials (BOM) volume).
- Prepare production reporting (conversion rates).
- Support finance director and manager with cash flow forecasts.
- Track budgets per budget owner.

Tax Reporting:
- Create overviews required for tax reporting, including Value Added Tax (VAT), corporate income tax, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Pay As You Earn (PAYE).
- Organize the TRA Audit process.

Coaching and System Management:
- Coach colleagues on correct entries in Business Central for sales, production, inventory, and procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work with detailed financial data and produce accurate reports.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- 4+ years of relevant working experience.
- Strong financial background.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with Business Central or similar ERP systems.
