Food and Beverage Manager
About the Role
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is searching for a passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee catering services. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service and high-quality food to our clients. The ideal candidate will act as a brand ambassador, maintaining food and service standards, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily catering operations to ensure smooth functioning, from food preparation to customer service.
- Manage client feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
- Monitor the quality of food and services provided to customers.
- Plan and create food and beverage menus, considering clients' preferences and special requests (e.g., healthy meals for children).
- Determine ingredient requirements and establish portion sizes.
- Train and manage wait staff and kitchen personnel, promoting a high-performance work environment.
- Oversee food preparation, customer service, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, place orders as needed, and report on expenses.
- Arrange food tastings for potential clients to showcase the company's offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Fluent in English.
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
- Experience in the hotel industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.
