WWF(The World Wide Fund for nature)Is an international non-governmental organization that deals with conservation of nature through a number environmental management programmes. our mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. WWF-Tanzania Country Office(WWF-TCO) is seeking to hire the Forest Partnership Manager to be based in Dar es Salaam.

Main Task

The main focus of the forest partnership manager will be towards mobilizing and applying finance for the project that protects and/or restore forests, as part of the global trillion trees partnership. Trillion Trees is a joint venture between WWF, BirdLife International, and the Wildlife Conservation Society - To unlock funding for forest and inspire the world toward a future where forests are expanding. The Forest Corporate and Business Coordinator will develop programmes and partnerships toward that goal in Tanzania, In line with WWF-Tanzania’s strategic plan, with a strong link to policy/business actions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

University degree in forest conservation, business management, development studies or related fields. at least five years of professional experience in inter-institutional relationship management, high project management capacity,Highly competent and proposal and report writing skills, ability to understand the complex funding strategies of donors and match WWF’s Programmes against these strategies , understanding of the key principleOf good project delivery as relevant to fundraising( objective, outcomes, outputs, activities and monitoring indicators)
