Overview

WWF (The World Wide Fund for Nature) is an international non-governmental organization that deals with conservation of nature through a number of environmental management programmes. Our mission is to stop the degradation of the Planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Grants & Contract Coordinator will manage all grants at Tanzania Country Office. He/she is also required to support the Finance Manager to improve donor relations, identify funding opportunities and compile the donor database, reformat and submit project proposals, and ensures timely financial and technical reporting to donors and WWF Network. He/she will also liaise with the Regional Office for Africa in Nairobi to ensure effective coordination of funding submissions and donor communication with other WWF project Offices.

Compliance

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Coordinator will be responsible for supervising subgrantee auditing/ reviews and implementation of the audit/review findings and follow-ups. He will also be responsible to make sure that the subgrantees are complying with all WWF expenditure guidelines and reporting requirements.
