China Dasheng Bank Ltd is a fully -fledged commercial bank approved by the central Bank of Tanzania. It is the first bank in Tanzania established jointly by Chinese state -owned and private companies. The Bank has one branch located at ground floor, extelecoms house, Samora Avenue. Responsible to: Deputy CEO – Business

Duties and Responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Promote business growth i.e. loan portfolio and deposit.
• Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
• Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively.
• Promote the bank brand and image through solving customers needs and demands on time.
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Developing goals for the business development team ensuring they are met.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by DCEO.

Required Education & Experience

Holder of Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or equivalent from a recognized Institution with 10 years relevant working experience 3 of which must be at Senior Managerial level.
