M&P Exploration Production Tanzania Limited is a locally registered company dealing with exploration and production of oil and gas. The company is looking for a skilled HR Manager to oversee ALL aspects of Human Resources practices and processes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manages the HR functions as per the requirements of TANZANIA LABOUR LAWS
- Develops and implements training and development programs as per company policies
- Supports and Manages disciplinary and grievances issues in collaboration with Management
- Assists in performance monitoring and management processes
- Prepares job descriptions, posts adverts in newspapers and recommends Management
- Provide counselling on policies and procedures
- Acts as liaison between the company and external professional bodies to ensure that all employment policies are aligned with the current legal framework.
- Maintains, prepares, updates and recommends human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintains historical human resource records/.by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
- Maintains professional and technical standards;' recommends to Management professional associations and establishes personal networks, cooperates with Trade Unions, specifically TAMICO, in all matters pertaining to industrial relations
- Deals with employees' contracts
- Ensures that employees' records and information are maintained in staff files.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Social Sciences, Law or Business Administration
- Understanding of state labor laws and disciplinary procedures (COMPULSORY)
- Mature and ability to relate well with others in discretionary manner
- Ready to work unsupervised and in a multiracial environment
- Excellent communication skills and strong computer knowledge (ExceI/Access)
