HR Officer

HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are looking for an HR Officer who will be responsible for providing full generalist human resources support to the business unit, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, industrial relations, HR administration, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes in line with business needs and internal policies.
- Prepare and post job advertisements, screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate assessments and panel interviews.
- Prepare letters of offer, ensure completion of engagement packs, and coordinate induction and training with line managers.
- Ensure compliance with internal recruitment and approval processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate the performance management process, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and standards.
- Support the development and review of performance scorecards and personal development plans (PDPs).
- Liaise with training and development teams to implement identified learning and development initiatives.
- Advise line managers on disciplinary procedures, poor performance management, and industrial relations matters.
- Manage disciplinary cases, prepare IR documentation, update tracking systems, and coordinate hearings and related logistics.
- Follow up on labor-related cases and ensure fair and consistent outcomes in line with company policies.
- Manage HR administration including payroll inputs, employee benefits, leave management, and HR data reporting.
- Ensure accurate employee records, proper filing, HR audits, and timely submission of HR reports.
- Supervise and support HR Intern(s), providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Promote effective teamwork, professionalism, and compliance with internal HR procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within FMCG or retail environments.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, performance management, industrial relations, and HR administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
