Human Resource Officer

HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to play a crucial role in supporting employees and fostering a positive work environment. Primary responsibilities will include employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and company HR policy implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating the selection process.
- Assist in the orientation and onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary information, tools, and resources to integrate smoothly into the organization.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with employment laws and regulations. Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, and update company policies accordingly.
- Provide support in employee relations, including addressing employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee training programs. Create, implement, and manage onboarding plans. Develop training and development programs.
- Assist in performance management processes. Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations, according to policy and legal requirements.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position.
- Must have at least 3 years of working experience in the HR field. Experience in the NGO sector will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment law. Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
