Tanzania Teachers’ Union (TTU), which operates in Tanzania Mainland only. is a registered trade Union that recruits its members from the teaching profession and it has full-time staff in every region. In Order to improve its Services to its members, the Union seeks to recruit dedicated, self-motivated, highly committed and well-experienced staff to fill the following vacancies based at its headquarters in Dar es Salaam:-

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER -1 POST

Overall purpose

Human Resource Officer is a vital part of any Organization, Institution commercial and non-commercial private, public sector, large or small. This Human Resources typically designated as officers or executives at firsHevel management, are tasked with all responsibilities connected with employees and other resources management

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeingvariousaspectsof employment such as:
• Compliance with labor law and Employment Standards
• Administration of employee benefits, compensation and performance management
• Give out suitable advke on aspects of recruitment and dismissal
• Mediate disputes internally
• Ensure employees data are correct up-to-date and available
• Prepare employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, retiring and terminating.
• Explain Human Resource policies, procedures, laws, and Standards to new and existing employees.
• Push the employees’ motivation
• Approving invoices for payment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management
• Proficient in Computer skills and use of relevant Human resources packages
• Master in Business Administration is an added advantage
