Location: Stone Town, Unguja Island, Zanzibar – Tanzania (flexible)

Hours: 7:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (variable)

Annual Salary: Approximately 30,000 – 33,000 EUR

Reporting: CFI Executive Director | CFP Executive Director

Responsibilities: Team entrepreneur. Seek and develop international partnerships to grow Zanzibar’s ethical spice trade and Community Forests Pemba’s wider climate action projects.

3. JOB SUMMARY

The International Partnership and Trade Officer will play a significant leadership role in helping grow the ethical and climate-smart horticulture trade in Zanzibar by building on existing partnerships and developing new relationships to increase overall investment and positive impact. As a key local focal point and liaison based full-time on the main island of Unguja, Zanzibar, the International Partnership and Trade Officer will work alongside an international executive team and local technical staff to implement a multi-year project funded by the European Union while pursuing additional complementary growth opportunities for the organization.

The incumbent will be positioned at least part-time in Stone Town – Unguja, Zanzibar Tanzania where the project office is located. Despite that, however, a considerable time will be used travelling outside the working area for various purposes including representing the Project/CFP in various events
