IT SUPPORT OFFICER
INDUSTRY: OIL AND GAS
HR WORLD Ltd, on behalf of our reputable client, we are looking for an IT Support Officer to serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance either over the phone, by email, or physically onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users.
- Walk the users through the problem-solving process.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
- Follow-up and update user’s status and information.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Responding and following group SLA.
- Willing to travel to upcountry sites as assigned by his/her supervisor.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Perform all other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- BSc. Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Relevant Fields.
- Proven or similar experience as a help desk IT technician role for at least 3 years.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Ability to work extra hours or be on call to finish a task when necessary.
- Excellent Communication Skills and Problem-solving skills.
