LEGAL AND REGULATORY MANAGER
HR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client we’re looking for a Legal and Regulatory Manager who will be responsible for monitoring and/ or advising the company on legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Draft and review various contracts as assigned.
• Process signoff and Giving Legal advice to various departments.
• Keep the fully executed contracts in safe custody in both physical and electronic format.
• Maintain and update contract tracker and Drafting and vetting various legal documents.
• Manage disputes in order to minimize court cases.
• Attend court cases as may arise.
• Review ongoing cases if any and maintain Litigation tracker.
• Prepares and updates regularly the regulatory compliance programme and liaise with line management to ensure compliance thereof.
• Coordinates regulatory relationship between the Company and all stakeholders in the sector i.e. the regulators, the Government, fellow operators and consumers.
• Monitors compliance with the terms and conditions of service licenses granted to the Company, and at the same time to ensure that all rights, privileges and entitlements of the Company under the licenses and the laws of the country are protected, enjoyed by the company and not infringed upon.
• Assist in legal research and preparing legal opinions
• Respond to legal and regulatory correspondences.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Bachelors degree in Law and Advocate of the high court.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Telecom/Banking.
• A presentable and sharp personality
• Energetic, self-starter and determined for success
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Swahili languages.
