MANAGER INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS - (BANKING INDUSTRY)
HR World on behalf of our reputable client in banking industry we are looking for a Manager Industrial Relations to facilitate alignment of the Bank, people and culture to its strategic business plan through the provision of Human Resource services in industrial relations, corrective behavior, welfare and medical care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages the review, design and implementation of the HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the business plans and objectives of the Bank;
• Handle all staff complaints, settles disputes, resolves grievances and conflicts in a timely, proper manner and cost effective way;
• Propose recommendations in respect of the labor legislation and case law in order to ensure good employee and labor relations;
• Attend all disciplinary meetings and ensures that disciplinary policies and procedures are followed;
• Provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws;
• Manages relocation, immigration and other responsibilities related to staffing administration;
• Facilitates conflict resolution between employees and supervisors to promote a positive, safe, and compliant work environment;
• Acts as a liaison between HR, Heads of Departments and union representatives, and provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws;
• Administer unemployment insurance processes and act as the employer representative for same, reviews related reports, respond to related information requests, and monitor program costs;
• Represent the Bank at Labor/Employment-related hearings and investigations;
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1st degree in Human Resources/Law/Public Administration/Social Sciences/Business or Economics
• A professional qualification/certification in HR is desirable
• 3-5 years of solid HR experience on employee relations;
• Negotiation Skills
• Labor Law Knowledge Skills
