What you can expect
Identify market potential within the Tanzania Market for Food Performance Ingredients (FPIs). Core responsibilities will include inter alia:
- Identifying new markets/customers for Food Performance Ingredients in Tanzania.
- Calling on food and beverage customers to identify key decision makers and stakeholders including location and contacts.
- Introducing food performance ingredients to decision makers in the food industry.
- Identifying potential business for BASF from each food and beverage manufacturer.
- Mapping out total business potential and stakeholders in Tanzania for food performance ingredients.
- Identifying alternative or new sales channels e.g. through online channels.
What we expect
- Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Chemistry or related qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development
- Commercial related background such as Marketing or Strategic Management would be an added advantage.
- Personal Attributes: Can do attitude, go getter, flexible, honest and can openly communicate and give feedback from the market.
