We are committed to promoting sustainable agricultural practices while ensuring fair market access for smallholder farmers. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Officer to join our team and drive our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to identify and attract international buyers, wholesalers, and distributors for our avocado products.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, assess potential export markets, and keep track of competitors to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects, ensuring top-tier customer service and regular communication.
- Brand Awareness: Collaborate with management to promote the Agripromise brand at both local and international levels, positioning us as a reliable supplier of premium Tanzanian avocados.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to meet export targets by identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and conducting presentations for potential clients.
- Trade Shows & Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence and market reach.
- Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns (both online and offline) to raise awareness of Agripromise’s export operations and sustainable sourcing practices.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in the agriculture or export industry.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing and business development, particularly with international markets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and think strategically, while also being a team player.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM software is a plus.
- Knowledge of agricultural supply chains or experience in fresh produce exports is highly desirable.
