Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Background

Africa Inland Church Tanzania Diocese of Geita was established in 1993 under the registered Evangelical church; the Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AlCT). The Diocese of Geita has a catchment area that covers three regions: Geita and Kagera regions, and Mwanza (one district-Sengerema). Geographically, the Diocese is bordering Uganda in the Northern part and Rwanda and Burundi in the Western part.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer works in close collaboration with the project team (Field officers, Government Extension Officers, Champion Farmers, and Farmers) to ensure effective implementation of M&E activities, preparing Quarterly/Interim and Annual reports on project progress, and monitoring project activities on a regular basis. The officer will assist project personnel with M&E tools and will be responsible for maintaining the database of the Project and supporting them in their use.

Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili.
