Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Family Planning
 
Palladium develops and delivers solutions that create positive impact for communities, businesses, societies and economies. Health Policy Plus (HP+) is a USAID-funded five-year $185 million project awarded to Palladium (formerly Futures Group) on August 28, 2015. HP+ works with key stakeholders to advance health policy and financing for family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH), HIV, and maternal and newborn health at national and subnational levels. HP+ aims to improve the enabling environment for equitable and sustainable health services, supplies, and delivery systems through policy development and implementation, with an emphasis on voluntary, rights-based health programs, and by strengthening in-country partners' capacity to navigate complex environments for effective policy design, implementation, and financing aligned to the existing priorities. 
 
HP+ Tanzania works in family planning and HIV/AIDS health areas to: support execution of policies and strategic plans through the lens of performance monitoring and resource mobilization; generate high-quality evidence to support the planning and development of sustainable health financing policies and systems; and develop capacity of local civil society organizations to effectively conduct evidence-based advocacy.  


The HP+ project is currently seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Family Planning. 
 

Position Summary

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Family Planning will be a seconded position to the Family Planning unit of the Reproductive and Child Health Section (RCHS) of the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MoHCDEC), Tanzania. The M&E Officer will be the primary in-country focal point of efforts to improve the collection, reporting, and use of data for monitoring progress toward the achievement of the national family planning program, National Family Planning Costed Implementation Plan 2019-2023 (NFPCIP 2019-2023) and FP2020 goals. 
This position is full time and based in Dodoma, with frequent travel to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Only persons legally eligible to work in Tanzania will be considered and no expatriate benefits are associated with this position.
