Equality for Growth (EfG) is a registered NGO with a vision of seeing a marketplace that is free from gender barriers, where female informal workers of all level operate freely on an equal footing with men and free from all forms of exploitation. Currently, EfG is implementing several community projects in more than three regions of mainland Tanzania, EfG is seeking suitable persons to fill three key vacant positions based in its head office in Dar es Salaam.

MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER

Minimum qualification: 

Candidate should be a Diploma/Degree holder with specialization in community development, development studies or related subjects. Applicant should have excellent flow in speaking and writing Swahili and English.

Job Description:

• Designing and implementing the M&E activities of the Project; Assisting the Project Manager in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis
• Report to the Executive Director and Project Manager monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annually on progress for all project activities and results
• Ensuring that the project activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost-effective and timely manner. Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results
• Recommend further improvement of the logical frame work
• Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities.
• Assist other project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their proper use
• Ability to work under immense pressure and must be willing to work overtime during annual project reviews, planning and project reporting deadlines.
• A punctual and focused individual on all matters requiring delivery of services.
