NDT ENGINEER
INDUSTRY- OIL AND GAS
HR WORLD on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for an NDT Engineer to examine structures, vehicles, and products for flaws and structural weaknesses using non-destructive testing techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Create plans and strategies for collecting debts.
- Setting up and calibrating testing equipment
- Conducting material tests
- Interpreting results and generating reports on findings
- Create plans and strategies for collecting debts.

- provide technical expertise on all NDT matters as required on projects
- Assist and support the NDT Co-ordinator or the project teams on all NDT matters
- Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project
- Review clients' specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy, and prepare detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity by specified quality
- Review subcontractors' tender documents and technical qualifications
- Assist QHSE Department with subcontractor assessments/audits
- Review and approve subcontractors' NDT submissions
- Ensure that records are maintained for all NDT activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements
- Maintain departmental project NDT files so that information is readily available to another department member
- Any other duty assigned by Manager/ supervisor
*QUALIFICATIONS;*
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a similar field.
- Relevant NDT certification.
- 2+ years' experience as an NDT technician.
- Advanced knowledge of NDT technologies including ultrasound, infrared, and radiographic, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building schematics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent report-writing skills.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to use a wide range of tools and instruments
