Reports to: Hospital Matron

Core Job Description:

To assist the Supervisor in nursing care of outpatients and inpatients and other activities as instructed

Key Accountabilities

• Demonstrate commitment and ensure the delivery of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients
• Demonstrate and maintain competency in the performance of clinical skills.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with other health professional, families, and community
• Maintain accurate sensitivity, empathy, and respect for customers and value of patients and colleagues at all times.
• Ensure complaints are escalated to the appropriate supervisor in accordance with policies and procedures
• Promote the organizations’ values and standard of care through appropriate practices and encouraging the same to colleagues.

Core Competencies

Nurse enrolled  should demonstrate the ability to accept accountability and responsibility for own actions within the enrolled nursing practice

Personal Specifications

Two-year certificate in Nursing for Nurse enrolled, plus a combination of relevant academic qualifications and 2 years’ experience in the related field.

Enrolled Nurse must hold a valid license from TNMC(Tanzanian Nursing and Midwifery Council)
