Role overview

The Organizational, Policy and strategy adviser alongside the Secretary General of the Youth and Employment Department will lead the Policy operational and strategic planning process. You will use your strategic planning, policy and organizational development background to lead all elements of the strategic and policy operational planning process including context analysis, participatory research, documentation and approval.

Qualifications (essential): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Policy related matters, development or a related subject.

Allowance

As a VSO volunteer, you will be sharing your skills with local communities on a full time basis. VSO will cover your travel, vaccinations, accommodation, and medical insurance costs, along with a local living allowance which will be paid in local currency. This allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home. You will also receive some financial support to contribute to your on-going expenses at home.
