Maternity Africa is a local non-profit organization in Tanzania, devoted to helping make child birth safe and treating obstetrical fistulas. We support local communities, provide information to keep mothers and babies healthy, as well as excellent medical care and training to ensure safer deliveries.
We are looking to appoint skilled, experienced and highly motivated pharmacy technician to be part of wonderful team of dedicated and caring staff whom together will create a safe and clinical excellence Maternity Center
Duties and Responsibilities
· Check prescriptions to make sure there are no errors and that they’re appropriate and safe for the individual patient
· Liaise with other medical staff on problems patients may experience when taking their medicines
· Making sure medicines are stored and disposed-off appropriately and securely
· Keep up to date with , and contribute to, research and development
· Write guidelines for drgu use and disposal within the hospital and implement hospital regulations
Qualifications and requirements
· A minimum of a Diploma in Pharmacy, pharmaceuticals Scienceor its equivalent form a recognized institution
· Must be registered by the National paharmacy Counci of Tanzania
· Prefered minimum of 3 yeares professional experience
