Position Overview

Educate!, is a non-profit social enterprise looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to join us as the Policy and Innovation Principal Strategist in Tanzania. This is a rare opportunity to drive innovation and collaboration at the highest levels, working with government partners to transform skills-based learning for youth through national education systems. The vision of the Policy and Innovation Principal Strategist is to act as a central coordination point for government stakeholders and partners, aligning efforts to support Tanzania’s competency-based curriculum (CBC) reforms while driving technical and government collaboration across stakeholders. This role is pivotal in fostering partnerships, facilitating evidence-based policy formulation, and ensuring aligned government engagement for the success of the Secondary Education reform rollout.

In this role, you’ll:

As a key member of our Education System Solutions team, you will bring a powerful blend of expertise in learning, policy & systems change, and strategic leadership to drive lasting impact within Tanzania’s education system. Your role will also focus on integrating innovative, student-facing products into government systems to ensure sustainability while leading the creation and execution of new strategies to continuously advance these solutions at scale. Collaborating closely with governments, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing Educate!’s vision of reaching 1 million students across Africa each year with measurable impact.
