Job Description
Position Overview:

The primary objective of the Project Finance Manager will be to establish and oversee efficient systems for financial management for the WCS northern projects, namely the Tarangire Elephant Project and the Serengeti Cheetah Project, ensuring general compliance with WCS global rules and regulations, Tanzanian laws, and funding source (donor) requirements. The Project Finance Manager will work closely with the Project Director and country office finance/administrative staff to ensure highest standards of financial operations. Responsibilities will include financial management and accounting, generating financial reports, budget reviews, financial management of project infrastructure, institutional/ labor/tax/legal compliance, contracts/grants/subgrants execution, performing field audits, supporting grant audits, implementing financial systems, tools and policies, finance capacity building. The Project Finance Manager will report to the Project Director with dotted line report to the Country Office Senior Accountant.
