DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To ensure Conservation awareness within and outside NCAA is carried out.
  2. To coordinate and improve Media Relations.
  3. To oversee publicity and creation of a good image of the Authority.
  4. To create harmony between the Authority and the residents leaving inside the NCA and surrounding areas.
  5. To maintain a close working relationship with the Press, Radio and Television.
  6. To oversee advertisement and promotion activities of NCAA.
  7. To approve annual work plans of staff of the Public RelationsUnit and ensure their implementation.
  8. To prepare the annual budget for the Public Relation’s Unit.
  9. To liaise with the Mass Media, Government Ministries and Departments and other institutions on public relations matters affecting the Authority.
  10. To respond to public inquiries concerning the Authority’s operations.
  11. To supervise and appraise staff and identify their training and development needs.
  12. To prepare the Authority’s press releases.
  13. To perform any other duty as assigned from time to time by his/her Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Holder of Master Degree in either Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication or equivalent qualifications from recognized institution with working experience of at least eight (8) years in related field. Must have an extensive knowledge in relevant computer applications/packages.

REMUNERATION

In accordance to NCAA’s salary scales.
