Quality Control Analyst / Line chemists
Location: Mbeya
1. Monitoring water quality including incoming raw water, treated water and domestic water - Operation of Reverse osmosis and troubleshooting
2. Supervising simple and ready syrup preparation including checking of all quality parameters related to the simple, final syrup and concentrate attributes
3. Ensure to operate beverage mixer through standard set procedures.
4. Performs quality check at specific time intervals for the following parameters: - Product Attributes: Brix, Carbonation (CO2), Sensory, Titratable Acidity, CO2 taste and odor,
5. Package Attributes: Fill Volume, Fill Height, incremental and removal torque, Full Package Integrity (Fill height and Date Coding), Secure seal test and all blow molding tests as per company frequencies
6. Rinser and warmer tests as per company guidelines - Record all the data in respective format and maintain manual records as required
7. Sensory evaluation and release of final products to the warehouse
8. Ensure to perform CIP on mixer and filler at end of operation and during flavour change.
9. Ensure all GHK and GMP norms are followed during plant operation
10.Conducts Carbonation retention tests as and when required
11. Conduct calibration of lab equipment and other operational equipment - Collect, labeling and storage of retention samples

Qualification/s Essential:

  • B.Sc. in chemistry/ food science Desirable: B.Sc. in chemistry/ food science
  • Experience Essential: 4-5 Yrs.
  • Desirable: 4-5 Yrs. in quality control
  • Computer Literacy: yes
  • Special exposure required, if any: Should be from beverage industry -CSD
Knowledge required: water testings, process control, documentation, packaging tests, product testings, GV, Brix, Net content
Skills required: problem-solving, planning, documentation
