REGIONAL MANAGER
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
LOCATION: MWANZA
HR World Ltd on behalf of our reputable client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Regional Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the performance and productivity of a company’s employees in achieving company goals. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for selling and collecting payment within the contribution benchmarks as well as developing the territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
- Maximizing price retaliation within set parameters.
- Achieving product-wise, profile-wise, targeted product mix including new products.
- Promoting the product at strategic locations through roadshows and customer contact programs at retail.
- Booking orders from distributors/retailers and collecting payments as per the monthly plan.
- Identifying and recommending new stockists/retailers in assigned territories and retaining credible customers.
- Executing the Sales Promotion plan as per the yearly promotion calendar.
- Ensuring delivery and display of POS material and its effective usage.
- Ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
- Resolving customer complaints and providing timely feedback.
- Ensuring all accounts are within the stipulated credit limit, fulfill credit formalities with personal guarantee forms, and reconcile all accounts within the stipulated period.
- Visiting customers regularly and carrying out over-the-counter activities.
- Preparing and submitting appropriate reports on a timely basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or any relevant field.
- 7-10 years of proven working experience in management and leadership.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ERP systems.
