SALES AND PROCUREMENT MANAGER
INDUSTRY: HOSPITALITY
LOCATION: ZANZIBAR
HR World limited on behalf our client, we are looking for a Sales and Procurement Manager to Oversee Company operations, managing day to day operations including business development, procurement, inventory, staff and customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Overseeing and supervising employees and all purchasing activities.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Developing, implementing and enforcing company's procurement policies and procedures
- Identify target customers and develop a plan to acquire and sustain them.
- Search and ascertain prospective clients and leads.
- Maintain positive relationship with prospective customers
- Understand customer needs and develop solutions to align with their needs.
- Develop and achieve sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly).
- Maintain client database and records
- Identify root causes and develop action plans to improve and deliver Sales and Procurement KPIs.
- Prepare monthly forecast and weekly reports to provide insights on business performance.
- Develop SMART objectives for your team and manage their performance through quarterly reviews.
- Have one on one reviews with staff to review performance and improvement areas. Develop a plan to upskill improvement areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Accounting, Business Management or a similar field
- 5+ years of equivalent experience in the hospitality industry
- Supervisory and management experience
- Certification in supplies and procurement is highly recommended (i.e. PSPTB)
- Excellent skills in Inventory Management
