Job description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing our activities in Uganda and possibly in other countries in East Africa Region.
He/she will be involved in the pre-sale phase, during calls for tenders and negotiation of contracts, as well as in the project phase, for a successful completion of the business. He/she will create strong relationships with clients and partners, to anticipate and support their needs.
He/she will be able to interact with all hierarchical levels.
Desired Skills and Experience
Academic Level:
Engineer / Business School with at least 2 years in complex infrastructure sales
Commercial and Technical Skills:
- Very strong ability to identify business opportunities and turn a customer problem into an order.
- Great listening ability.
- Ability to make presentations to clients and partners.
- Strong knowledge of its market (competition, trend, financing, ...).
- Knowledge of the Infrastructure Market in Uganda (Telecoms and Electrification).
- Knowledge of energy and telecom technologies and associated services.
Human Skills:
- Strong ability to develop confidence
- Rigorous and conscientious
- Voluntary and autonomous
- Ability to work in a small structure and make it grow
- Strong initiative
- Great listening ability
Others :
- English and swahili speaking and writing, French a plus
- Driving License: Compulsory
- Computer skills: standard (mail, excel, word)
- Travel: regionally and internationally
