Job Purpose:

The Social Media Marketing Intern is responsible for managing the social media platforms of Mapinga Premium Foods. This role is crucial for creating and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing brand presence online, leveraging social media trends, and effectively using hashtags to increase engagement and follower growth. The intern will focus on creating unique content, utilizing stories and posts, and ensuring a high level of engagement and new followers.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the company's social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok).
• Create and curate engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with the brand's aesthetic.
• Utilize stories, posts, and other social media features to maximize engagement.
• Develop and implement a hashtag strategy to increase reach and visibility.
• Stay updated on social media trends and leverage them to enhance the brand's presence.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner.
• Prepare, run & optimize social media paid advertisement campaigns.
• Track and analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
• Ensure a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all social media platforms.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent aesthetic sense and ability to create visually appealing content.
• Proficient in using social media tools and features (e.g., stories, posts, hashtags).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative and proactive approach to content creation and engagement.
