Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to manage and grow our supermarket operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing and executing marketing strategies, training and motivating staff, and understanding market trends to optimize product selection and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Revenue Growth:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase in-store and online sales.
• Identify new sales opportunities and implement initiatives to attract and retain customers.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify high-demand products.

Marketing and Branding:

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote the supermarket and its products.
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.
• Collaborate with suppliers for promotional activities and special deals.

Staff Training and Development

• Train staff on customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
• Foster a positive work environment that motivates employees to achieve sales targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.

Market Analysis and Product Optimization:

• Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Ensure the right mix of products is available to meet customer demand.
• Work with suppliers to source quality products at competitive prices.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Manage inventory levels to reduce wastage and avoid stockouts.
• Oversee pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness while ensuring profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail or supermarket management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train, lead, and motivate a team.
• Proficient in using retail management software and analyzing sales data.
• Innovative thinker with a customer-first mindset.
